I'm overwhelmed by the love my paintings are getting both on and offline. I genuinely don't know what I'm doing, I'm just trying my best, and people are so encouraging and supportive. I've only got five paintings under my belt and I've gotten so many people saying they hope I stick with it.
That's the kind of attitude I try to carry through my creative process :) I'm not trying to be THE best, I'm just trying to do MY best, and it's really cool to see the growth over time!
Indeed, art is hard. But that’s the point! All skills take time to learn. It takes effort, passion, and care to become a great artist. I may not be all that great an artist, but at least I can take pride in what I create because I actually drew it. I’m proud of how far I’ve come.

I have weird hand problems when I draw too much, so I saw a physical therapist. I've been doing some basic strengthening in the target area (very, very light exercise) which is building a little muscle and helping to ease the pain. Maybe consider seeing a doctor :) Good luck! Hope you feel better!

That rules. I work in a lot of homes all the time, I haven't stopped masking since 2020, and I hardly ever get sick. Plus, basically no one bats an eye, and I feel pretty fortunate about that. The most I'll get is a friendly "You don't have to wear that for my sake" every other month or so.
