You intimated that their behaviour in this transfer window indicated that they are not fully cognisant of the financial consequences of relegation. That's ludicrous
They weren't aware we could get relegated and they thought there was a salary cap. Yeah right. And they were totally unaware of the consequences of relegation, because they hadn't even bothered to model it. Uh. Huh.

We were promised effort, and we have no reason to suggest that they aren't trying. All of the signings so far appear to be at least acceptable and one or two look very good. We can't force good players to join a relegation battle. If we hold our own there is always January.

He was here all last season. He is flashy and Farke has all but said outright that he doesn't work hard enough off the ball, which is what we are be mostly doin' this year. Something that could not be levelled at either Summerville or Raphina, for example. His flash is therefore misplaced here.
Perhaps I am. It seems to me his first action is more likely to be instinctive. No one likes to be stood on their own while their teammates are all celebrating with the real hero.
