I wrote a bit more for the Sherlock fandom years back before GO. I managed a few GO ones. But I have so so so many partially written fics in my gdocs. Lol. But I have chronic illnesses and kids and work and as much as I want to I can never find those extra spoons ๐ญ

I do the same!! Tho I haven't written in an age. We need to support our writers because we need fanfic now more than ever. There is so little good out there rn, especially in the states atm. I stockpile whatever I can find in my downloads. I may not get to them for a while but I will!
Oh no, I didn't take it that way at all! Just mentioning it to take your focus off the subs in relation to your worth as a writer! There is definitely a lack of fic interaction these days from the younger newbies who don't seem to understand ao3 or how to be a good and supportive reader!๐

The kudos to hits ratio on each fic is the percentage I was told to pay attention to(for my own fics), for a more accurate look at interaction and people enjoying them.
With subs you will get a lot of people who don't read wip fics, then download the fic to read offline once it's completed. (Hi, I do this, ADHD won't let me read wips or two things at once). But we do forget they are there sometimes and they sit for a while. (I leave kudos/comments as I finish them)

Most people I knew in the fandoms I'm in are still around, or came back after a short break. It lulled for maybe a couple months. Then went back to what it was before. Unless your blog was devoted to porn not much changed.
How? Tumblr didn't really change at all. A lot of us didn't leave during titty-gate. Besides less porn(but still many porn bots) it's still the same weird little app it's always been. And honestly it's one of only a few decent social media platforms left after the rest went to shit from politics.
