Everyone in this story is kind of tortured and a character you've come to care about has a role in that. Exceptional stuff.
One of your legacy characters, that legacy character's child, the heir to a mysterious lineage of rangers and dragon-slayers, and the heir's friend. The game declares that your legacy character left their child at a young age, and that their mother wasn't good to them.
I often mumble about how good the Wildermyth campaign "All The Bones of Summer" is, but I always forget how immediately compelling the starting four heroes are. It's incredibly economical storytelling.

Do folks recommend Neocities? I do think it would fit my aesthetic better than Squarespace's assets do.
I may need to do some streams this month to help keep eclipse.gay alive, as it costs me a lot to keep it on Squarespace. The alternative is to learn Neocities and migrate the site.
