Ok, i'm full on in pre-travel anxiety mode. At this time tomorrow i'll be heading for the airport to visit Japan again after six years. Everything is prepared, there is not a thing to worry about. I'm terrified. Can't focus on anything.
Wanderstop is not judging any of your choices! ...unless you choose to play with mouse in keyboard. THEN it's gonna give you a bad time. Took me a while to even start it.
It's wonderful! It's an actual cozy game, unlike so many others that use this label. It has a great atmosphere, looks pretty, and lets me do things at my own pace. Even prevents me from hoarding items or trying to complete any kind of "collection" except for drink flavors.
Still playing through Wanderstop and, uhh, i think i'm doing tea wrong.

Never had that problem - my mom loved playing games on Atari that we had at home :v I just inherited her hobby xD
The one in my area had: - DS games that didn't start - Nintendo Switch that they put in the dock in all 3 possible wrong orientations - Steam D*ck 64GB variant for the price of 512GB one Got my used Wii in there, though. It works perfectly and had zero noticeable scratches - probably barely used :v

The only way to prevent it would be to show two different letter boards per eye. But, like, nobody ever thought to prevent cheesing the exam...? And why would they think of that?
So this only counts as autism test for me - the question is "what's this letter" and i answer correctly. I wasn't asked "is it clear enough to read". And i feel the pressure to answer quickly, not overthink it. So i just say "R" or "M" or whatever there is - and don't mention that i don't see it.
Stupid confession: I only pass eye tests like this because i vaguely memorize the letters with my better eye before the doctor tells me to switch to the weaker one D: It's not like i can read the tiny blurry letter with my right eye - i just recall seeing it a second before with the left.
No accessibility features though. If you can't go past the second boss, you're just stuck.

But on another side - gotta remember that we were also kind of privileged to even HAVE computers at home back then. It was common to have one, but not universal. Only thinking back to it i realized how many people i knew only used PCs or consoles outside of their homes.

Gotta say, just slightly relevant to this - Polish version of Nanny had even better cast. Frania looked and sounded near spot on like the original Fran. But more importantly - butler Konrad (our version of Niles) was played by the same actor that voiced Farquaad in dubbed Shrek :v

Yeah! I was, like, in late high school when i got my first legit copy of Pokemon Diamond for DS, but first i played it emulated of course. There was just no way to have that nintendo kid nostalgia like beyond the ocean. I can't even play Mario 64 because its controls feel so unnatural to me.
First encounter with Legend of Zelda? Some PC port that i can't remember the name of. First Pokemon adventure? DBOY emulator on msdos running "blue.gb" rom zipped along with it. Mario? You mean like Mario Bros. on Atari?
My first Nintendo console was a DS. Before that there were only two famiclones, which shouldn't count. And i don't even know if NES, SNES and N64 were ever sold where i live. Most of my "console gaming" as a kid was through emulation or bootlegs.
