Fair, I still use Windows 99% of the time, albeit reluctantly lol That said, the main reason I haven't fully switched to linux is just compatibility. I have a bunch of software and peripherals which only work on Windows. If I just needed my PC for gaming, I'd at least give linux a proper shot.
Wanna share a jpg from android? It gives a warning about unknown files being dangerous before you can even enable the feature. Wanna share a jpg from an iPhone? You bet it works by default and doesn't say anything about security.
Fair point, but what I'm getting at is that macOS is straight up designed maliciously. It doesn't matter that it's more secure when that security is mostly performative and only really exists to inconvenience people into giving up and fully switching to the apple ecosystem. 1/2
MacOS has everything you just complained about, and has arbitrary limitations on compatability with non-apple devices. I doubt you'd sooner use a mac. That's like saying "fuck BMW for making subscription service heated seats, I'd sooner buy a tesla."

My favourite genre of tech support is when I just accidentally confuse the person by using too much overcomplicated jargon, they fix the problem themselves, and then still thank me for it for some reason.
One time I was fired from a restaurant for having the flu. Alteratively, I could've gone in while incredibly sick and been fired for violating food safety laws while also potentially making my coworkers sick. You simply are not allowed to get sick in many industries.

Without specific details on what exactly the AI features are doing to 'enhance' things, neither. It's a thing of "I have no doubt that there's a way it helps, but I can't think of any". That said, I tend to lean towards "How is this useful?" when it comes to 'smart' appliances anyway.
On the subject of this, if you're ever mind-numbingly bored, just search for brands of random household items and "AI" and get a chuckle out of the sheer nothingness in the marketing.
I think part of that is down to AI being used as a buzzword by so many companies. When every company markets a product as "AI-powered" on a technicality, it kinda strips away any meaning for the genuinely impressive AI technologies.
Yeah sorry about that, noticed that basically straight after hitting reply. That said, to clarify on the semantics, nobody to my knowledge really called those systems AI except for in educational content explaining the technical definition of AI.

Finally decided to learn how redstone works so here's a 4-bit computer that literally just counts from 0-15 but can only display 0-9 of those values.
