Such a good movie. As a senior in college I had a copy on tape. I had horrible insomnia in my final semester. I’d put it on thinking since I’d seen it so many times I’d just fall asleep with it on. Nope. Watched it through every time. I can practically recite the whole thing.

I had two-toned hair in high school (blonde/black; it was the 80’s….) and I loved to respond to folks who asked incredulously if my mom let me do that to my hair: Yes! She helped!
Huh. I didn't realize when I buy things I'm "losing" money. Here I thought I was exchanging something I have (money) for something I want (goods or services) that have a value (price) that I personally determined is equivalent enough to proceed with the exchange and get what I want. Silly me.

Yeah, perhaps. I'm also not convinced that these folks don't just see everything as a zero sum game and if someone else gets something at all, they're losing.
In addition to the cruelty, short-sightedness, and incompetence of them all, the level of petty is off the charts.
We’ve been on the phone with multiple agencies/orgs. They’ve been completely cut off from federal money. We’re talking housing, homeless services, public safety, etc. I’m calling a press conference today to explain how this could have drastic local impacts to our constituents.
Honestly, you could take the first 6 and last 4 words of this statement and that’s how I now feel about the media since 2015.
