I hope some of these thoughts are helpful, lol. I think gender is mostly about a mutual recognition of mutual participation in the same tradition of being, in relation to people of the same gender and to people of other genders - and it's a recognition of how you're already implicitly treated.
Learning to be trans isn't so much memorizing how women or men act so much as it is unlearning how men or women act and just permitting ourselves to react naturally as ourselves, and finding that we are discovering gender rather than trying to conform to it, and then we're read properly more readily
Then also, though, I'm not sure how accepted it is outside of trans spaces the idea that people really can kinda tell when we're closeted, even before we can articulate it - we implicitly carry ourselves like the wrong gender, when we're closeted, and then coming into our actual gender feels natural
Like in body language, hair and dress, I think trans men and women have about an equally easy time reading as our gender and reading as cis, it's just that all women are then further expected to wear makeup and to be physically small in gendered ways, but like degendering rather than regendering.
Like I think a lot of feminine beauty standards are marked with accusations of mannishness, but I'm not sure this is often necessarily exactly regendering so much as it is punitive degendering. Conversely, men's bodies are more loosely policed, but their dress is policed much much more strictly.
I'm not totally sure what you mean by this but also I'm not exactly sure I'd say it is easier for trans men to pass, I just think women are expected to be pretty, and we're punished for not being pretty, but there are ways to pass as cis without being maximally pretty.
