We used to have a cardboard cutout that was printed with a gray tabby. Our cat would go on alert and puff his tail. It seemed mean to taunt him with it!

Earlier this spring I spread clover over a scruffy, weedy area. When I get back in the fall, I hope it has taken over and looks good.
This photo is so telling: the fires advancing on picturesque outports. We have smoke today…since the wind has died down.
I hope there is such a moment, but since it hasn’t happened yet, what will it take? I am not optimistic
We can barely smell the smoke but my throat and sinuses sure know!

In Utah, there is a boulder covered like this called Newspaper Rock. Cool!
Saturdays mean that the locals are taking their boats out to fish for cod. They bring them to the wharf and cut the fillets. The seagulls stand by for any scraps thrown their way. #Newfoundland

We have had schools of capelin in the cove, and the seagulls have been going nuts. There have been minke whales as well, one pair I am pretty sure is a mother and offspring. You can hear them when they surface to breathe. (Not my photo, its stock) #Newfoundland #nature

Lucky you! I have noticed that bird info pops up on the screen while recording, which is new. Maybe it is the bird I am listening to, I’ll check… I usually just close the window.

Your set up sounds a lot like mine…pedal assist, shock, upright handle bars. You are old school with the pedal style! Mine do have a heavy tire. Knowing this, I am even more impressed with your riding.

I get messed up talking over someone, I end up with gibberish. But yes, I shouldn’t give up.
My experience with this approach is that the other person keeps on talking over me. Even if I am determined to complete my thought, they keep going.
