You cannot placate fascists out of escalation. It is literally just not a thing that can work
Regardless of where you stand on what happened I need to point out that it doesn't matter what you say about the political violence that happened because even if everyone says the right things the fascists will just make up stuff nobody said in order to further escalate their ongoing violence

you can see through the sides of chunks now because the chunks (correctly!) note that their underground sides faces are obscured. it's just that they're obscured by chunks you can't see because they haven't fully been generated yet
chunks connect properly now! with bonus shot of the sprawling cave systems beneath the surface i made a staged chunk generation system where chunks can request their neighbors be generated but only up to a certain stage, which keeps the generation from going infinitely in all directions #GameDev 🎮

doing kitsune tails really took a toll on me. not being able to talk about/show stuff because we needed to hold it back as ammo for press moments. i can't fucking live that way man, so block game, that will just get developed out in the open where everyone can see and follow along

Yeah, but cause of the low res doing proper normals created lighting artifacts. Instead the edge normals point the same way as the neighboring face, and I smoothly interpolate from the current face's lighting to the neighboring face's lighting So normals with extra steps
