DeSantis wants us to treat educators like enemies and our children like problems to control. That’s not the Florida we believe in, and it’s not the environment we want our kids to grow up in.
Instead of welcoming families, the letter urged parents to monitor and report teachers, turning our classrooms into a place of mistrust and political espionage instead of a place of learning and growth. Is this really the lesson we want our kids to learn?
