I’m so sorry, too many people went through that!! I’m fortunate that my GP was amazing, they had just passed a law so patients had to see pain management. So we tapered over months and he upped my Percocet when we took me off of the fentanyl patch. It was still tough but not as tough as yours.

Ugh, those guidelines! Beginning of the downfall of the CDC. I realized that I had been cut off from my meds that worked over a decade ago, mine were stopped at least a year before they published those guidelines.
Definitely had to develop some really thick skin dealing with all of this.

That’s what they have me on but I had to wait today lol. I imagine that is not fun, my doctor’s office messes it up a lot, 31 days in months seems to throw them. 😂😂I usually just look at exactly 4 weeks out, that’s usually when I can fill.
It really is! And see, I have to wait until tomorrow to fill it because of how the laws are. I’ll be okay, I tried to plan for this and fortunately I can get it tomorrow morning. It’s the only medicine they do this with, even though the doctor wrote it for today and I’m not trying to fill early. 🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️

I hate when it’s time to refill my pain meds, always so much anxiety between cost and well, let’s just say I have a lot of trauma that comes with those meds. And I’ve gotten it from every direction: doctors, nurses, pharmacists, pharmacists assistants and so on.

I’m in a lot of pain today. I sat too much yesterday, we had a family fantasy football draft party last night and I’m always the designated driver because I don’t drink. While it was fun, I’m paying for it. And that’s small stuff, wasn’t sitting in hard chairs or anything.
