Something I struggled with as a young freelancer was pieces can be great technically, your best work even, but it just doesn't work in application. It can be anything from print limitations, awkward layout, ... That said clients should always pay you to redo things, especially if they okayed WIPs.

That said, all my older content does come out from behind those paywalls to play on places like bluesky. I try to think of my paywall as a 'if you want to help/support the work/see it early' sort of place. But yeah, the teasers over there cannot ever be NSFW. So if you didn't know, now you do!
Something I've been asked as someone that runs a NSFW subscription campaign is "Why do you keep all the nsfw stuff behind the paywall?" or "Why are your freebies SFW?" I just don't think people know that those platforms forbid NSFW content in free posts. It's not a choice on my part. ๐ #art
