our ecosystem is focused on, imo, accurately describing the class systems of american life, and the various way they're unfair and should be changed, improved, or destroyed altogether. their ecosystem is a vulgar nationalist one, and it's a nationalism that's always under assault
the right on the other hand live in an ecosystem that is constantly feeding them bullshit about some amorphous "other" that is stealing their country from them. which could mean immigrants taking their jobs (farm labor? lol) or venture capital changing the logo of a chain restaurant
it was less an outrage of being denied something we felt ownership of and sentimental attachment to, and more a general anger at the stupid excesses of rich morons, which we then made fun of for being transparently stupid
