It’s still really scary, though. The illusion of connection is still something, when compared to the stark reality of admitting you’re in free fall without a net.
This has been my dilemma for longer than I’ve let on. I struggle HARD with feeling isolated, and my mental health crumbles when I’m too alone for too long. FB was my way of remaining connected for years, but it’s become so unusable and evil that the benefit just doesn’t exist the same way anymore.
