Yeah I did it early because I'd be priced out otherwise. I'd be lying if I said delaying the wildcard until after GW6 isnt partially because I dont want to have spent a transfer on Semenyo just for a single game against newcastle, but I do like my strategy
Current plan, 1 FT already used on Johnson -> Semenyo Rolling the other. GW6 I do Salah+Mateta -> Ndiaye+Haaland. Roll GW7. WC8. BB12. (Pics in order of GW5, GW8, GW12) Dont like spending a transfer for the BB this week as it would turn Ndiaye+Haaland into a -4 #FPL
Van Dijk's performances reminded me of the 24/25 season review of his I wrote for @thisisanfield.com this summer. He's the best centre-back, one of the best footballers, I've seen. The question is, at 34, how long he can maintain that level, but it almost seems like he's better than ever.
Good point, with the BB in mind it could be better to get someone with more immediate good fixtures. I just really love owning him and plan to keep him for the season honestly

Yeah in 8 Iām benching VDV vs villa, Dubravka vs Leeds, KDH vs city and Andersen vs Arsenal. Dubravka and VDV have decent fixtures but not better than 7 or 5 imo. 9 is another great week for my starters but not my bench lol
