Alex made me watch Wings of Desire, and I really, really liked it. I did not love City of Angels in the same way, but I did enjoy Nicolas Cage and Andre Braugher.
I mean, she’s also on standby to be a foil for a relationship Kat doesn’t even want, but that won’t take off until Chelsea’s safe.
Eva only has about 5 characters that she regularly interacts with, and she’s feeding their stories rather than driving her own, so we only see her in the context of Ted/Leslie/Nicole or Kat/Tomas. It’s a waste. She needs to hang with Andre or make an office friend or Something.
That’s a bold statement! But I can see it. Hayley is at least conniving; Ted is just too fricking stupid to live. Good thing plastic surgery ain’t rocket science…

He was talking to Andre and texting with Bill so he did know that Kat wasn't missing. And yeah, he was tempted to go over (for selfish reasons, to connect with Nicole in her time of need so I'm deducting some credit), but Bill told him to stay clear of the mansion. And he listened.
If Kat were the one missing, then it’s a different story. In this scenario, there’s no good reason for Ted to go to Vernon’s house. Ted doesn’t need to talk to Nicole about Kat right now. He needs to reach out directly to Kat (he has, and she ain’t at that house). And he should reach out to his son.
Yeah, but the women made a bad thing worse by going. Not causing more direct pain for Nicole and her family was the only good thing Ted managed to do, so I’m gonna defend it to the bitter end. Lol #TeamNoNuisance And the studio was a crime scene, so maybe not. But Martin’s would’ve beat the club.
I disagree - Leslie and Hayley should have followed Ted's lead and stayed their asses away, not the other way around. Once Bill let him know everybody was already upset about the countersuit, common decency should keep him away from that house. Now, he could've gone to Martin's or the Studio...
I think he means he knows he's not welcome there and going over would be inviting unneccessary drama, and he's not Hayley so he ain't doin' that. He HAS been calling and texting Kat, and that's what he should be doing.
Drew's return to GH was a quick fix for SB/Jason leaving the show. The second he returned, the writers started plotting Drew's exit. I mean, Drew/Willow was seeded while Jason was holed up in the boathouse.
To your original point, Willow would still be a cheater. 100%. But that's not why she lost the kids. Letting herself be convinced that Michael was The Enemy and letting things escalate without a proper conversation was. And Nina played her part in that - she just got outplayed by Drew.
Yes but that's also because she waited months to tell him, and then only because Ned was about to do it. And also between Kisses #1 and #2 Drew played up how noble and self-sacrificing the were being - which would not fly if she knew he was screwing her Mom.
I think that if Nina had told her after that first kiss that she and Drew were sleeping together, the odds of the second kiss happening go down. The odds of Willow confessing to Michael earlier go up, etc. That said, this is still all on Willow.
I think Tomas likes Kat, but he's really into Eva. If Eva and Kat were on the same social level, Kat would be his girlfriend's cool sister. But he's a climber, like Bill 30 years ago, so status trumps vibes. And both women deserve better.

I could enjoy Willow finding out about all Drew's lies after the wedding and Drew blackmailing her with proof that she messed with Daisy so they stay married and miserable. Like old school Alan and Monica without the underlying love.
When folks complain about villains/vixen evolving into community pillars, I think about Lisa (who my grandma would call "a hot mess" in the finest of tones).
So neither of them cares about Ted. Fair enough.
If the writers wanted to do a Sidwell Redemption Arc, getting those kids away from Drillow is a great start! And honestly, hurting Sonny would be a bonus. I know that's not what they're doing. I'm just saying...
When Willow said, "I'd... rather not" to shared custody, like Michael's parental rights were a trifling inconvenience, I knew she was gonna lose. And I knew I was going to enjoy it a little TOO much.
Sure, but that's not the only way to be like Leslie. Kat consistently lets her obsession override her common sense. She ignores the law whenever it suits her, then acts surprised and indignant when told she's made things worse. She's not Leslie-Evil, but she's looking kinda Leslie-Delulu.
Also, Nina was so excited to get Michael & Willow split up that she helped set this in motion. If she hasn't filed for a legal separation on Willow's behalf, this would have gone down differently. But, like Drew, she didn't want them to work it out.
Kat is making sure that any evidence found week be completely inadmissible. Jacob had explained that to her Over and Over, and it just doesn't penetrate AT ALL. So while her motives are different, in practice...he ain't wrong.
They told her not to tell about Brooklyn. She could have told Gio that he was adopted without giving him that info.
But the show treating Brooklyn's perfectly fine decision to put her baby up for adoption like something that she needs to atone for? It's like a really strong argument for abortion.
My extended family has in- family open adoptions (kids were fine), closed adoptions with kid told (fine), and secret closed adoption (total devastation when truth came out). I get Gio. But the biggest eff-up came from his mom, who could've told him the truth without telling him birth parent info.
I mean, she's at least 15% more concerned than Susan Collins. Or something.

That was a horrible storyline, turning a brilliant character (Nora) into an idiot to justify foisting the freaking Rappaports on us. And then, after pretty much ruining everything, they undid it in an equally dumb way. But that gave us Bo & Nora again, so...

I don't think they are rushing. Trina and Kai are just getting to be friends who maybe like each other a little. They are just starting to build. The story may or may not be compelling, that's totally subjective, but it's not being rushed.
I mean, I'm always hoping for Sonny's Open Casket Funeral storyline. But Laura staying out of a custody case involving her grandson's other grandparent isn't at odds with her not wanting the guy who tried to kill her son in town.
Well, he also attempted to murder her son and her commissioner. I'll accept a little bias.
No one outside of the hospital admin/staff (and Lucky) knows how Sam died. GH is deliberately holding that info b/c the lawyers think they're dealing with an internal screw-up/legal liability rather than murder.
Anna is the commissioner, she's not supposed to be following up personally on this stuff. That's what detectives are for. Still, Dex's autopsy should be part of the investigation. But there is no investigation about Sam, her death is not officially suspicious.

Anna is only focused on the stabbing - Dex died due to "complications" after a stabbing, but the stabbing is the real crime. The hospital has been and continues to be very hush-mouthed about the digitalis overdosing. I'm hoping that since Isaiah called it out, that's going to be a real plot point.
And one attempted murder - at which time, Isaiah told Portia that the hospital needed to call in the police. But she hasn't done it yet.
The Cassadines kidnapped Laura and they were pretty much welcomed everywhere. If you're filthy rich they let you do it, right? (And TBF, that rings even truer in Right Now America than it did in 1996.)

I just remember that when Ava thought her life was in danger, she went straight to Carly and asked her to let Avery live with her for as long as necessary because keeping that child safe was priority #1 . Sonny would NEVER.

Angie Baxter Hubbard on AMC (then Loving and The City) - hands down the best black female character ever written in soaps. And Angie & Jesse are one of the great soap supercouples, period. Also Dru on Y&R, who got great stories...until she didn't.

Nina lowkey set this in motion. If she hadn't been so set on pushing Willow away from Michael, they'd have had a chance to talk & would probably have worked out a custody agreement without the ugliness. She thought it would be Williw & her, but it turned out Drillow. 🤷🏾♀️

Yes, Carly did what Carly did. Yes, that was wrong. But Michael made a relationship with AJ as an adult, and loved AJ as an adult, was so furious when Sonny killed AJ he changed his name to Quartermaine. Then took it back - as an adult.
Dante isn't Sam's next of kin. Alexis should have been told, but the hospital not volunteering information that opens it to lawsuit to...a really good attorney...is plausible. Alexis being too distracted by Kristina drama to follow up is mayyyyybe less plausible, maybe not.
At this point, it's Michael's fault he was there. He's a grown man and had the opportunity to turn his back on Sonny when the man killed AJ. He came back to the fold then. And he came back again after Sonny did the whole "dead to me" ish last year.
I mean, it's not in the hospital's interest to release that info until it has cleared itself from liability. That's why they're still in the "internal investigation" phase. Also, unless they've established that a crime is attached, HIPAA prevents them from just giving out cause of death.
We seem pretty determined to try, though.
I enjoy the actors together, and I could enjoy the pairing if the writers ever decide to stop dithering around and give them some kind of arc.

No it isn't. But that was Nina's argument for taking the kids to her house, and that was Carly's argument for not letting it happen. Nina egged Willow into flight mode, Carly tried to egg Michael into fight mode. Michael was the only one focused on not freaking out the children.
Carly and Nina were thinking exactly along the same lines - whoever had physical "possession" of the kid stands a better chance of keeping them. Willow went along with her mom's advice. Michael said no because the "smart choice" would hurt the kids. Who's the spineless one in this scenario?
I didn't say they weren't hateful. I said they were entertaining, interesting to watch (except JA, who was great on SB but just Not Edward to me). Drew has just been wretched without being fun. And I'm only speaking for myself; I know some may find this s/l more riveting than Tracy/Edward. Respect.
Yeah, but Tracy and Ned (and Edward and Alan and Monica and AJ) were more entertaining while misbehaving, and that counts for a lot.
This part I buy because GH is gonna want to have all its legal ducks in a row before they tell a lawyer that her daughter died because hospital employees screwed up.

Honestly, I was worried they were going to retcon it as Dante/BLQ sleeping together during Lante against all onscreen history. This is a blip. There's a plausible explanation for why no one knew "back then". And Dante/Brook Lynn have had good reason not to tell others and not to revisit it.
1) Please, the Cerullos & Falconeris would've been over the top trying to hitch them up. 2) #1 and/or the sex was so bad they made a Solemn Vow to never discuss it again. 3) BLQ wanted Carly's money, not to braid hair/swap secrets. 4) Solemn Vow Never Again requires drugs to undo. 5)Logic you say??
I was THRILLED about Carly because it gave Bobbie something to do other than prove herself worthy of Tony Jones's love and forgiveness. Also it didn't require any jostling around with history at all.
The secret could just be that they did have a fling 20+ years ago, didn't tell anyone because they didn't want the Big Family drama about it. BLQ got pregnant, didn't tell Dante, didn't tell Lois about Dante, and Lois arranged an adoption by family friend but didn't tell BLQ.
Maybe Dante doesn't know about the baby? Because it's clear that Olivia doesn't know about a secret lovechild and if Dante knew, she would know.

She was born in '96, so two years older than Michael. But she got SORASed about 10 years when teen Brook came on. So she could be in Dante's peer group now.
She might not know about Dante. If it was just a fling, BLQ may not have wanted to say who the dad was.

I think respecting actors' boundaries is a good thing and should be normalized, not stigmatized. It's not that hard to sell a romance or create a believable love scene without showing a lot of skin. I agree that it hasn't been working here, but I think the fingers are pointing the wrong way.

But she and Dante had that conversation about Carly not knowing what really went down between them, so I think the kid has been in the works for months. I think BLQ may not know Gio is the kid, that may be Lois' secret (and Sonny's?).
Rick Hearst is such a freaking joy to watch, even when he's being The Worst, he's kinda the best (see Alan-Michael Spaulding). And he is single-handedly making this trial must-see tv.

Well, I love all the Spencers except...Tim, Luke's dad - he showed up in flashbacks, so he counts! Second least favorite is Donna (but it's the Corinthos part that bugs me, so maybe it doesn't count).
