The lack of action, or even strong words, by many Democrats is looking more like a plan. A plan to enable the fascist takeover of America. Everyone has a price, or a pain point. I think that someone has found it for most Dems, and has met it.

As a Michigander: we grew up with the little bug in our ear, that “If you get a DUI, Canada won’t let you visit anymore”. We always thought that was unfair. So seeing this guy refused entry for past convictions is not actually surprising? But that it was a sudden US policy change is angering.

All to often the only people speaking up about the BS going on are FORMER figures of authority. All willing to finally say or do the right thing, only once their jobs and income are not on the line. Where’s all this integrity from people with more to lose? Fear is the law these days.

I love this statement of our times. To briefly mansplain: I think in both cases, it’s what each thing represents, “at that time” that is the catalyst. Which really makes it more poignant, and funny; respectively.

At my advanced age of 54, my personal relationship with time appears to be fracturing. Things that occurred ten years ago, seem very much like they happened only a year or two ago. My age itself feels unreal. In my head, I could be 34 or 44. Only my reflection gives me hints of truth.
