Of course I couldn't resist a little road race! 🤣 🏁🚴♂️👩🦼🚴🏼🚴♀️ I'm finally done with copyedits & I wrote the acknowledgments last night. More editing today & tomorrow; I'm on Chapter 15 of 37! Yesterday I took a 'lil break from the memoir to do a painting class that Paul & I had signed up for awhile ago. 🎨🖌️ We have really enjoyed these classes (this was our second)! Now what to do with four large paintings in our studio apartment!? 🙀

Things are getting real with the memoir: it comes out April 14, 2026! 📖 This weekend is a marathon editing session, going through the tiniest of suggestions from the copy editor. There are so many people I know who are hurting right because of this Administration. It's overwhelming. Be kind to yourselves and to each other. Someone suggested, after the weekend, that I start calling my state reps as they prep for this new budget reality. That felt good and true and empowering.

I'm heartbroken millions of innocent people in the U.S. must face the harsh consequences of this Administration. 💔 I'm grieving because I never envisioned this many elected officials abandoning humanity & decency so readily.
