Thatβs all it has been called as far as I am aware. It was just a railway siding for years and then became a hotel for drovers and truckies, until it became a tourist destination.There is nothing else there except a water tank and the railway.

ππ»ππ»ππ»ππ» well done! I was trying to pick out where you were. My daughter lives in Moncrieff and when Iβm visiting I take off in her car to find different tracks for walking. Such a great place to be for walking tracks and cycling trails (and birds of course :).

This will probably be my only contribution to #FlamingoFriday as this is a photo of Chile, aged in her late 60s when she died at Adelaide Zoo in 2018. Chile was the last surviving Flamingo in Australia. Her companion died in 2014 at age 83.
