Snark is filled with it. A lot of them are novellas. There is one full novel. That is more open to characters but it ticks a lot of your boxes. It's also just fun. One of my favorites. Novellas are in first person. You can read them over a weekend or 2-3 days. Pages fly by.
Short, extreme pretty cool but I don't think it all comes together really well. We talk about books though that are banned or wouldn't be allowed this would make the list. But..wow. Not sure I'll check Laymon out again. Have any recs not Barker, King or Koontz or the newer guys of horror a ladies.
I read this novel. I went into it because the author does have a name. I read the uncut and revised edition. Some of this is very predictable and it's extreme as all get out. Comes with HUGE content warnings. This is about as extreme as I would go. If you're a horror fan check it out if not don't.

I would say that a lot are going after the same crowd. The Rage is its own thing but if you look at the covers and go to to like TikTok they are mainly alot of them Tik Tok branded or trying to set up and be that way. Yeah we need to give this type of face cover a break. No doubt
