Wednesday’s mass shooting in a church at a Catholic school in Minnesota on the first day of classes was horrific. Accounts of brave children using their little bodies to shield even smaller children…I don’t have the words. But clearly, USA needs strict gun control. #ItsTheGuns

According to the American Journalism Review the group is a "pro-Israeli pressure group." Their tactics involve publishing names and contact info of journalists whose work doesn't align with their bias to incite harassment campaigns. And for some dubious reason they're registered as a charity!

When I write about famine & starvation in Sudan, citing IPC reports, ‘Honest Reporting Canada’ has nothing to say on social media about my accurate reporting. But when I write about Gaza—citing the IPC, humanitarian NGOs, WFP, UNICEF etc.—they attack me. Their anti-Palestinian agenda is obvious.

I remember the day, i remember the song and i fear it’s gonna happen again. In fact I think that asshole is setting it up to happen. A lot of guard troops are still young kids with guns who don’t know how to deal with “policing”
What is happening in the US will lead to the death of innocent people and the Americans will not be able to look away. The world is watching!
That song is just as relevant now as it was back then when he wrote it, maybe even moreso. The tragedy at Kent State was part of Nixon's attempt to suppress protest and dissent but he was the one that had to resign in disgrace, let's hope the same thing happens again before the shooting starts.
