I have used that service and it really made filing easy. Previously, you would be directed to eFile via a 3rd-party service. Those services would deceptively say free but then charge a high cost for filing with your State or aggressively try to upsell you their product at every turn.

U.S. CEOs also get huge bonuses whether or not their companies are successful. European companies are subject to more restrictions on executive pay and have a stronger focus on aligning CEO pay with overall company performance. Greed has to be regulated!
The GOP has been delegitimizing institutions long before Trump (e.g. The Gang of Seven). The plan is rebuild them with new guardrails that protect their party and exclude others. We are just now seeing the fruits of that labor. It’s been their playbook to gain and maintain power.
