They plan to cut over 500 ATF inspectors — leaving just a few hundred to oversee thousands of gun dealers. This would make it even harder for an already underfunded ATF to investigate gun crimes, trace illegal firearms, and ensure gun dealers follow the law. It will also make us all less safe.
🚨 The Trump admin is planning to overhaul ATF, crippling the only fed agency dedicated to enforcing gun laws. The “law & order” party wants to cut the agency that stops illegal gun sales, because they prioritize CEO profits over the safety of Americans.
