T-rumps Goal is the destruction of the US economy, diminishing the power and influence. The US has around the globe, and creating a population that is So poor that they become purely dependent upon the oligarchs or exploitation. They stock market an AI bubble, are just part of the equation.
It’s not about safety. It’s about power and control and using the military to that end. These are test cases for full control. Their ability to easily arrest and entertain anybody instilling fear into the population.

All of these activities are designed to disrupt the US economy, dismantle federal government, and destroy the influence of the US around the world. I suspect that Putin is behind it all. It plays into the hands of the Christian nationalist and the oligarchs, so they willingly participate.

You don’t know how monetary policy works. Taxes do not fund the federal government. All money is issued by the Federal Reserve and the federal reserve through the US treasury funds of the government and puts money into the economy.

I walked the Camino de Santiago in Spain twice. Started to walk the Camino from Porto Portugal last year-the interior route was very dangerous. The Camino was along high traffic roads without a separate trail or sidewalk. The coastal route is safer.
