This "per capita" term confuses them. Math is clearly not a strong suit. Neither is logic, critical thinking or human decency.

There is certainly a lump on the top of his neck. Most call it a head, but in his case, it might be an asshole based on the shit that comes from it.
Grumpy Cat (@grumpycat71.bsky.social) reply parent
There is too much focus on his cheeto-colored bronzer. Can we ban that? This moron. I keep thinking he can't surprise me anymore, and there I am... dumbfounded by his dumbfuckery.
Grumpy Cat (@grumpycat71.bsky.social) reply parent
I can count this many! I'm told I count more many than anyone else. How many can you count? I'm sure less than me. Thank you for your attention to this matter.
Grumpy Cat (@grumpycat71.bsky.social) reply parent
I agree with you on this, but consider how he got any power or control. Wish that on Trump because he's the one that triggered this mess.
Grumpy Cat (@grumpycat71.bsky.social) reply parent
"Golden Age" has a perspective to it. From Trump's and his wealthy, white male supporters, this is a "Golden Age." It's everyone else that is suffering for it. But hey, they owned the libs, so they are still winning, right? Better to be broke with declining health than a "girl" become a boy.
Grumpy Cat (@grumpycat71.bsky.social) reply parent
I'm confused. Not a lawyer, so please explain if you understand. Didn't the House adjourn to avoid having to vote on releasing the Epstein files, which is okay. But the TX House Dems leave to avoid having to vote on this, and that's illegal? SMH this nation is a shit show.
Grumpy Cat (@grumpycat71.bsky.social) reply parent
No worries, we're likely not more than a few months away from the RFK Jr. banning birth control, and if that doesn't turn things around, we'll soon have a real-life version of The Handmaid's Tale. That'll get population going the right direction.
Grumpy Cat (@grumpycat71.bsky.social) reply parent
Sadly, I think you mean "became." This idiot winning the election triggered the transition. This latest act is just another step deeper into third-rate.
Grumpy Cat (@grumpycat71.bsky.social) reply parent
Simple. Submit credible evidence and move forward with criminal charges. I'm sure that can't and won't happen. But in the meantime, what Epstein files?
Grumpy Cat (@grumpycat71.bsky.social) reply parent
Apple Dumpling Gang, The Private Eyes and Threes Company are some of my favs. But nothing, and I do mean nothing, will ever top him as Barney in the Andy Griffith show. Him and Andy were amazing together.
Grumpy Cat (@grumpycat71.bsky.social) reply parent
OMG, Barney is the greatest comedic character ever! I have watched all of the Barney seasons at least a dozen times. Bless you for passing it on the grand kids. So many good lessons in many of those episodes.
Grumpy Cat (@grumpycat71.bsky.social) reply parent
Because Trump is a tyrant and "what Epstein files?"
Grumpy Cat (@grumpycat71.bsky.social) reply parent
You hit it on the head, George. This is the regime's priority. This is paramount to making America great again, in their eyes. Sadly, this is so on brand.
Grumpy Cat (@grumpycat71.bsky.social) reply parent
I love him. He's fantastic. He could pull a lot of conservatives running on a platform of Make Christians Great Again. Because right now, their vocal face are mainly Christian Nationalists that have alienated so many.
Grumpy Cat (@grumpycat71.bsky.social) reply parent
I loathe Trump and blame him for a lot. I think he and DOGE impacted our ability to detect and react to catastrophes. I won't quite go so far to say he killed those kids. This was crazy flooding. But it's not purely on Trump. Politicizing it like that feels like it diminishes those impacted.
Grumpy Cat (@grumpycat71.bsky.social) reply parent
He flapped his arms and he certainly flapped his jaws. Nonetheless, he couldn't take flight. So he sent thoughts and prayers and extended his vacation.
Grumpy Cat (@grumpycat71.bsky.social) reply parent
While I appreciate your sentiment and agree with your thinking, I think it's been clearly shown that you have no power. The Democrats have no power. The President has done one thing exceedingly well - he shows how to use (and abuse) power.
Grumpy Cat (@grumpycat71.bsky.social) reply parent
They think Emma is expendable. She's fragile and not to be catered to. Yet, these are the same people that would lose their mind if Emma was aborted. It's blatantly and carelessly inconsistent. But, this is the administration we're currently stuck with. I'm sorry for Stacy and her family.
Grumpy Cat (@grumpycat71.bsky.social) reply parent
He's half right. There has indeed, never been anything like this. As for prices, when was the last time he actually paid for something? His lips are moving, hence, he's lying.
Grumpy Cat (@grumpycat71.bsky.social) reply parent
I fear we're headed that way. As Trump pushes forward with his plans, he's alienating more and more of his own base. His approval rating is like 43% now (still astonishingly high). The BBB is going to drive it lower. At 30-35%, we'll be very close to civil war.
Grumpy Cat (@grumpycat71.bsky.social) reply parent
I made it up, just like the moron mentioned in the first post. But in my smallish suburb of Austin, I saw more people protest than I saw at Trump's shindig. So relatively speaking, my number is accurate. 😃
Grumpy Cat (@grumpycat71.bsky.social) reply parent
Crazy, 748M showed up for No Kings!
Grumpy Cat (@grumpycat71.bsky.social) reply parent
You can't lose something you've never had. This is bad but wait until RFK Jr's actions manifest into consequences. It'll make this all seem kind of trivial.
Grumpy Cat (@grumpycat71.bsky.social) reply parent
It doesn't just look like one, it IS one. Looking like one means it's just in appearance only, like Trump appearing to be loved when that's clearly not true. But this is actually happening, so until behaviors change, we are a fascist state.
Grumpy Cat (@grumpycat71.bsky.social) reply parent
I think you're wrong. Just some of the words in the transcription got dropped. He's a strong SMELLING and decisive leader ON ILLEGAL ACTIVITES. If you fill in the missing bits, it's totally accurate.
Grumpy Cat (@grumpycat71.bsky.social) reply parent
Selectively ignoring the 1st amendment while religiously holding onto the 2nd. That's on brand.
Grumpy Cat (@grumpycat71.bsky.social) reply parent
The inmates are running the asylum. And as people are learning in LA, if you disagree too publicly or too strongly, he'll unleash the military on you. He's all the things we claimed he was, but he's President anyway. It's saddening.
Grumpy Cat (@grumpycat71.bsky.social) reply parent
You know, sadly, he has strong competition. MTG and Boebert could give him a true run for his money.
Grumpy Cat (@grumpycat71.bsky.social) reply parent
It's easy to tell when Trump is lying. His tell? His lips are moving.
Grumpy Cat (@grumpycat71.bsky.social) reply parent
This is fun to watch but if they did that, they admit to turning over American's data to an illegal alien? By taking Musk on Air Force One, does that mean he harbored an illegal alien? Can we then arrest them for that?
Grumpy Cat (@grumpycat71.bsky.social) reply parent
Good to know, but sadly, the original question is still valid.
Grumpy Cat (@grumpycat71.bsky.social) reply parent
What's the notch below f*cking idiot? He's that. A f*cking idiot with no morals? Not sure the adjectives but that's getting close.
Grumpy Cat (@grumpycat71.bsky.social) reply parent
They went nuts over Roaring Kitty noticing GME was over-shorted. But this is cool. And what Roaring Kitty knew was public information.
Grumpy Cat (@grumpycat71.bsky.social) reply parent
Think perhaps he and his crew might be making specific buys/sells/calls/puts with each of these swings? I mean, Trump is an idiot, but not everyone around him is. It must be amazingly profitable to be near him and know what is coming.
Grumpy Cat (@grumpycat71.bsky.social) reply parent
Spot on and well described.
Grumpy Cat (@grumpycat71.bsky.social) reply parent
So... spot on for Trump and the Trump-ettes?
Grumpy Cat (@grumpycat71.bsky.social) reply parent
I have a number of family still very pro-MAGA. Most are lifelong, multi-generational Republicans that believe Democrats are as bad as Atheists. And they are ignorant b/c they believe all anti-Trump info is fake news. It's sad to see.
Grumpy Cat (@grumpycat71.bsky.social) reply parent
Well, consider the bar set. Biden is viewed as intelligent, so a decline is measurable. Trump has always been an idiot, so how would you notice any decline?
Grumpy Cat (@grumpycat71.bsky.social) reply parent
Giving birth is an act. Many can do it, even those that shouldn't. Being a mother/parent is a role. It's something a person chooses to do. Sometimes the act and the role intersect, and those children are blessed. But sometimes they do not. That doesn't diminish the parent taking the role.
Grumpy Cat (@grumpycat71.bsky.social) reply parent
The downside though is while this hits them harder as owners of the companies, it's impacting 401Ks and IRAs of regular people. Sadly, many people are invested in their success.
Grumpy Cat (@grumpycat71.bsky.social) reply parent
If you take his rants and just add "unless it's me" to them, they make total sense. And I assure you, that's exactly how he means them.
Grumpy Cat (@grumpycat71.bsky.social) reply parent
Haven't you heard? All Star voters are DEI hires. That's the source of all problems.... or illegal aliens. Pick one, but that's the cause to all bad things.
Grumpy Cat (@grumpycat71.bsky.social) reply parent
This! H1Bs are a good thing, at times. But the big tech companies (and other tech reliant companies) had major layoffs in the last 2 years putting a glut of tech talent on the bench. H1Bs should be slowed or stopped for now.
Grumpy Cat (@grumpycat71.bsky.social) reply parent
You got lost in the transition, didn't you? I'm not cheering him on. He should not have done what he did. But if my very simple, tame (by comparison) example was that, imagine a life threatening situation that gets that or worse treatment. Now you can see the motivation. It happens daily.
Grumpy Cat (@grumpycat71.bsky.social) reply parent
UHC has the highest decline rate of any major insurer. This is well documented. For some families, this means they avoided or were significantly impacted (financially) by care. If you're one of the MILLIONS of Americans impacted by this, I can see why you feel a certain way about this.
Grumpy Cat (@grumpycat71.bsky.social) reply parent
My district is extremely blue. But nonetheless, here we are. The election process ran its course and "we" elected Trump. So "we" all have to live with it. I don't like it... but here "we" are.
Grumpy Cat (@grumpycat71.bsky.social) reply parent
If you're keeping tabs, that's $24K in "costs" (and yes, that's inflated by the health care system) but as much as 60% of that could be passed on to me, and I have "good" insurance through my employer. No issue with that? And this wasn't life threatening.
Grumpy Cat (@grumpycat71.bsky.social) reply parent
The 3rd claim was deemed out of network and is $14K. The cost to me is still TBD, but we were there less than 2 hours. BTW, both tests came back clean and it was classified as a diet/alergic reaction.
Grumpy Cat (@grumpycat71.bsky.social) reply parent
You are joking right? I can cite my own recent experience with UHC. My wife went to a clinic b/c of some swelling around her neck. The took 1 xray and did blood work. I have 3 claims to UHC. Two were deemed in network with only $800 out of pocket to me (out of $10K of claim).
Grumpy Cat (@grumpycat71.bsky.social) reply parent
Ooh, great point. What do you think happens, assuming this makes it to trial? A hung jury or guilty? I don't see innocent as an outcome. But a hung jury could happen.
Grumpy Cat (@grumpycat71.bsky.social) reply parent
True that. No denying. But, that CEO has set policies and processes in motion that have led to the death of more people than Bin Laden. So you can see why some people feel a certain way about that, right? It doesn't justify the crime, at all, but you can see the motivation.
Grumpy Cat (@grumpycat71.bsky.social) reply parent
I agree with what you said 100%. However, I can understand the opposing optics. Osama Bin Laden killed ~3K American's with what his organization did on 9/11. We didn't hesitate to kill him. This CEO has arguably "killed" as many or more during his tenure with his decisions and practices.
Grumpy Cat (@grumpycat71.bsky.social) reply parent
Sure we can. We elect them as President of the US!
Grumpy Cat (@grumpycat71.bsky.social) reply parent
One nice feature - one character can be all things. That's very different from WoW and GW2 where you have to play alts to try other things. I can be all professions (crafting/gathering) and jobs (ie. classes).
Grumpy Cat (@grumpycat71.bsky.social) reply parent
Yeah, it can get a bit tedious at times reading it all. They do have some VERY long cinematics. It usually warns you - "make sure you set aside adequate time" - or something like that. The longest was a chain that took 20-25 mins.
Grumpy Cat (@grumpycat71.bsky.social) reply parent
My path of MMOs was Wow (15+ years), FFXIV (last 3 years), GW2 (last month). FFXIV has an amazing story but you are pushed to do the MSQ. GW2 is more open. You can kind of do whatever, but I'm still early on that one.
