It must be that we’re hearing a different NPR based on local member stations. I tune in for shows like Morning Edition on my drive in, Newshour, This American Life, On Point, and things like Travel with Rick Steves on the weekend. Never have I thrown my phone across the room in disgust.

It's a multiple failure of editing; first of the editor in "assigning" the piece to "AI," and second in not knowing enough about what they've "assigned" to understand that the output is bullshit. In a different era, this would have gotten someone fired.

Really enjoying Assassin’s Creed: Shadows. I’ve typically bounced off of the newer-formula AC games but this feels fresh, with enough tweaks to combat and movement to bring me back in. The story is also super engaging and the juxtaposition between the two characters is well done. I’m into it.

I’d encourage everyone that - while the news and the country may seem overwhelming - don’t bury your heads in the sand. Try to stay informed on the things that are happening. It may feel torturous but it’s the only real thing any of us can do.
Any #developers out there who could tease out something for me? TikTok went dark in the US and since coming back is markedly different. Could the downtime have been something used specifically to implement new region-based things? Does that even make sense / is it necessary to do so? Could we tell?
