I buy tempeh and tofu because they're cheaper than meat. To agree with another commenter: Vegetarians don't want meat substitutes that emulate meat, if they liked meat they'd just eat meat. They'd absolutely be more likely to buy fake meat if it was cheaper tho.
The term "artificial intelligence" is inaccurate. There's nothing artificial about the intelligence that was used to create software that pulls intelligence from every possible source.
