Well, I completely deactivated and hopefully deleted my Twitter account. I mainly used it as a way to lurk on right wing cringe and accounts I liked but it’s too much now.
I did that back in college for a bet.
They represent the two extremes; magic being the mystical and fantastic ways of the old world that’s going away and steampunk science even counting magical alchemy in a lot of these stories as the logical reality and mastery of the world. The magic goes away because we learned how the world works.
Where as steampunk tends to air on the more whimsical and optimistic side of innovation and part of the reason why you think to see it associated with magic as a counterpoint or even as a reason why it works with media especially video games like arcanum, dishonored & sovereign society is because

Yeah when black panther is my least favorite out of the current lineup and I’d still give it an 8.5 that should say something
the best simple ways I can promote the X-men and Black Panther runs are also X-men is basically for fans of Persona 4 and magical girl/horror animes. and Black Panther is basically what I imagine alot of people would have written fanfics about MCU Black Panther if chadwick boseman was alive.
I will also say if you are squeamish about certain things like human experimentation and alot of very obvert references to real world atrocities and issues like nuclear testing and vitctims of the radioactive fallout as well as america's treatment of native americans, this series goes hard on those.
oh wait you mean the ultmates, as in this series; yeah the best way I can describe this book is "you can tell this book is what is pulling the narrative and pace of the whole Ultmates universe." I love the new interperations for the members, especially Doom and Captain America.
It's much slower of a pace than some people were expecting but I'm really enjoying it because it's showing that this is a series where the background is thought-out and already lived in rather than starting from zero with the expection of Peter is now in his 40s rather than 15.
I buy them digital when the trades go on sale, I buy the Omnibuses and collected editions physically for my personal collection/to share with others. I'll buy indiviual issues for series and runs I want to actively be following like Immortal Thor or the new Marvel Ultimates & DC absolute titles.
