It is weird that everything is called "ai" which I presume is intended to be "coolness by association" since it is clearly seen as basically magic but it mostly results in eyerolles and ironically, tainted by association.

There is no such thing as "ai"... So the "no true Scotsman" route is not the way to go at all.
But the question of "what's the bloody point of it" remains. "Use it only alongside another tool and check additionally" increases the time spent on it, doesn't decrease it.
If the information you get is unreliable, then you have to retest and can lead to a daisy chain of mistakes. This is not a necessary tool... This is an attempt of useful-wash "ai".

One of the directors in the company where I work said that he wants "ai" to replace tier 1. It was VERY hard not to ask him how he plans to replace the customers who need tier 1 to understand their barely coherent issues and translate them into actionable solutions. Maybe i should have.
I don't get how people don't realize that a technology that replaces junior and entry level positions in a field destroys that field. There's no skipping steps. You have to be a junior before you can be a senior, and if you don't have senior people, you don't have a field.
