Think I have decided that getting onto triple Arsenal around GW7 is a better use of transfers (for me) than buying Haaland in 6 would be.

Husebø having his contract terminated is just a pain. Doesn't feel worth a transfer but hate having to carry a dead spot in my #ESfantasy team for the rest of the season.

I am confident that I can use the money to pick the right spread of players that can cover the premiums. Allows me to own the best options every week (other than the big two).
Yeah. I used bench boost. Not ruling out owning premiums in future fwiw, but stand by my claim that starting without has proven to be a good decision.
I would assume they both smash it every week at their prices... And am confident I can cover it with a good squad. Any week one of them blanks is a huge gain for me.
I think he probably doesn't. But the smart play is to put four in four in for now and see how it is shaping up nearer the deadline to decide.
Because I have more points than most Haaland owners. 14m+ is too much for a single player, and when then that player individually does well it can blind managers to the reason for their struggles being all the compromises needed to afford him.

I think Wirtz and Salah are safe. Two of Isak, Ekitiké and Gakpo will play (most likely Ekitiké and Gakpo). I am not that fussed about having a defender so took a lottery ticket on owning the right four attackers. Can decide near the deadline if I am confident enough to go for it or pull the plug.
Couldn't Liverpool have offered Palace a season long loan of Joe Gomez as part of the deal?

I presume Liverpool are planning for Salah being phased out eventually given his age. Obviously not straight away, but there's a very nice 4312 or even 3412 available once Mo is no longer an automatic starter. Alisson Frimpong - VVD - Guehi - Kerkez Szobo - Gravenberch - AMA Wirtz Isak - Ekitike
And huge respect for those who have got on with things the right way. Marc Guehi springs to mind for example.
It's a free hit team so would only be for Burnley. Think Mateta/Sarr/Munoz against Sunderland have a higher ceiling than Guehi versus Burnley

The nice thing about being on free hit is the the enjoyment I can take in transferring three Forest players out today. The annoying thing will be when they show back up again in GW5.
He will miss it more than you think. When Europe kicks in and with Luiz signed, he will be hooked early a decent amount. Can see him being a really frustrating own.
If he could get that many then of course I would be interested. But I think that's a huge overestimate. I suspect he gets ~2pts or ~4pts in most games, with the occasional ~7 thrown in. Probably 130-140 for the season and I would rather use the spot for those that can genuinely push 170+

In a circumstance like this I could see it happening. A player surplus to requirements at one of them is just what the other needs. I think Ortega in particular would be a very good bit of business for all parties.

I was probably overstating it a bit. I do feel very settled on the keeper, defence and strikers from that screenshot though - plus Salah and Sarr. Wirtz versus Gakpo is a decision to make, and the Johnson spot could be anybody.

I don't think I would FH with what you have tbh. You have double Liverpool attack and double Palace already in place. Not sure the potential gains are big enough.

I don't think it's a particularly surprising answer, but the fixture is the main reason for me. Plus I don't have Salah or Haaland so no great alternative other than something like a Wood punt.

My hunch is that people are over correcting a bit based on a terrible midweek result. As you say the ability level is there, and that feels like an opportunity to be brave to me.
