I just mean don't limit yourself to 6 pokemon. The game is too easy for just 6 and it's a lot more fun (imo) if you train more than 6 so you don't get overlevelled as easily. It depends on your own knowledge of the battle mechanics and how difficult you want the game to be ofc.
I highly recommend you use more than 6 pokemon on your team - the extra challenge it provides improves the experience tenfold. It's also fun choosing a team of 6 for each important battle (I found 12-15 pokemon is the sweet spot)

It’s different in knockout tour because it’s about longevity. So acceleration is good for when you get hit a lot and Bowser’s speed is good for building a lead

It's frustrating because I had a lot of fun with it because it has a lot of good ideas. The performance and graphics are atrocious so the potential was so much greater than what we got.
I'm enjoying it a lot more than last season but my main issue is how heavy handed the political commentary is. Makes the left cringe and the right not want to watch and it takes me out of the world/story whenever someone says something unnaturally unsubtle.

I usually pick based on their final evo so I don’t know yet. Never particularly cared for any of their original final evos though so it’s a hard choice
