I'd be sad, if I weren't so angry, because I know exactly what you mean. The amount of hoops that you have to go through to get disability, just so you can live below the poverty line & then have to beg for help with survival. Because of the rules that hold you down, rather than help. π

Care companies don't care (ironic), backed by Governments who rule in their favour. So the patients & the caregiver's both lose. Been that way, even before Covid. Sucks, we all deserve better than that. But considering how they act like Covid doesn't exist, don't see that happening anytime soon.
Until thereβs a reckoning with how easily society tossed vulnerable people away in 2020 and how quickly monetary powers consolidated to enshrine that, justice is not coming.
