To me it shows the difference in intelligence and motivation between PM Carney and Poilievre. Poilievre is a mediocre slacker that nobody likes, Carney is the brilliant, thoughtful, overachiever.

That’s not right. There was no moment of silence. One conservative brought up Kirk’s killing and they stood up and clapped, not just because he was murdered but because it was a political murder and it was wrong. So that was basically acknowledging that there is no place for this in politics.

I thought it was a mistake when I first heard about it - blaming the Liberals. But after watching the excerpt decided that the way Alberta Conservative MP phrased it, said nothing about hate stuff CK had said, & made it about free speech and his family, the whole House had no choice but to applaud.

I think the issue here is security. The government wants a way to deal with threats from non Canadians in our country. I get that - I want to be reassured that there are checks and balances. I would accept a quick method e.g. 2 or 3 judiciary review.

I didn't pay attention to details or whether or not carbon capture was mentioned. On list B of projects is Atlantic wind energy. Small nuclear projects. No pipeline even mentioned. Many CDN young people believe climate change is a hoax or it is useless to try. We need to change their minds.
