I'm a medical professional who would intentionally pick medical conferences near Orlando. I'd get my CMEs then take my kids to Disney. I will now personally consider any future conference in FL suspect (I'm looking at you: PriMed, Mayo Clinic, Cleveland Clinic).

My kids actually loved it! They said it made them reconnect with their friends at lunch and helped them focus in class. My daughter went to a party and a sleepover this weekend and both sets of parents outlined a “no cellphones” policy. My daughter understood and actually preferred it!
My children’s school started collecting phones in homeroom and returned them at the end of the day. Even my kids admitted they liked the policy because they didn’t have the pressure to check/answer texts. I did get them Apple Watches for emergencies (you know what type).

A lot of it depends on what she ultimately wants to study and how her non-English language skills develop over the next few years (she's currently taking French). One of my friends who lived in the Netherlands said that many Dutch programs teach in English and are excellent.

Cincinnati, Cleveland, Dayton, and Toledo as well as higher density regions run blue. It's mostly the rural areas that run red. Thanks to some of the worst gerrymandering in the country we have a GOP majority in state government.

The program's called Children's International Summer Village & it brings kids together from around the world so they can see their similarities regardless of their home country. Good news is that this generation is very vocal & politically saavy and I suspect they have a few things to say about him.
