Pac-Man World Re-Pac is one of the most baby ass easy video game for babies, but then one of the achievements requires beating 9 stages of the original Pac-Man on one quarter.
The Motivational Maricela arc of this week was based on this Rosebuds short, by the way.

The other was that after using 1000 assist trophies in Smash Bros Brawl, you would unlock Zant (from Zelda Twilight Princess) as an assist trophy and I legit spent an entire day mindlessly watching assist trophies play out in the hope that I would see Zant pop out and do a funny.

It reminds me of how Nickelodeon initially wanted SpongeBob to be a school student and not a fry cook because they thought kids wouldn’t relate to a grown working class character and settled on having him be in a driving school. You’d think Namco would understand teen Pac-Man was unnecessary.
I’m so glad they gave up on making Pac-Man a teenager who goes to school. I like it when he’s a man with a house and kids. Shame about his wife though.

It’s a very good game, but I personally prefer the SNES game by Capcom. I also find it funny how this game had a significant impact on gaming history as Nintendo wanted a game to directly counter this game’s graphics and that led to the development of the original Donkey Kong Country.

It’s great, but some plot beats were very tropey. I wasn’t a big fan of the “liar reveal conflict” when it is not only the main focus of the conflict, but it also kinda makes it seem like the lying was justified by how the other characters reacted.
