Greetings! I’m here at Metro Detention Centee, the site of a 24/7 protest in Los Angeles. Just got here, a dispersal order is being announced via loudspeaker by DHS.
Cleaning up downtown Los Angeles this weekend: 1. Remove or scratch out fascist garbage. 2. Replace with wholesome messaging that promotes compassion and community.
Today’s main quest: packed up 50 kits with a Know Your Rights & Resources info sheet, KYR red card, body wipes, deodorant, toothbrush & paste, & poncho. Simple kits like this are an easy way to strike up a convo with your neighbors & start building relationships & trust to better support them!

Last night, about 60 Chicago activists and organizers gathered to discuss Trump's threatened military occupation of our city. Our convo centered around a worksheet that some friends and I put together this week—a tool that can help us build and strengthen local networks of support and protection.
A similar recent situation out of Boise: Boise PD and Idaho State Police used footage provided by a far right group to target and charge an abortion activist. Three years later, a mistrial is declared when withheld video, apparently, shows battery and instigation by the source's group.
