#BerlinUSK meet-up at Klaus Mühlenhaupt Höfe in #Berlin Kreuzberg.#Poznancooldown. We invited 2 international Urban Sketchers and they both showed up. 🥳 One of them was Peter Rush, so I searched for #cardboard boxes in my bin. It’s fun to draw on cardboard boxes, you should give it a go!

I think the symposium is usually very popular and tickets are sold out within minutes. To control the crowd they only open the gates to a certain time and areas. (I guess) There is the market and the drink & draw in the evening for us. On Saturday will be a Sketchwalk for everyone.

We did a little private sketch walk yesterday. With visitors from New Zealand and Sweden we went to the #quietspace at the #Kraftwerk. It was so impressive! With temperatures of 34 degrees, this space was the best retreat. . .

And btw what good is a quick-drying and super light fabric if it can't withstand your weight? I’m always impressed how many layers my sewing machine can handle 💪 Isn’t it cute?
With things that I already have in my stach. So … with a stipe of sturdy hemp with organic cotton fabric it’s a treasure again. Surely the fabric weights more and isn’t drying fast, but it will last a few Urban Sketching sessions and another thing was rescued from trash.
Rescue mission accomplished ✅ Lightweight stools made in China, sometimes for a bargain. But … the fabric wasn’t able to stand the weight of a person. ( see picture 4). I love to repair things like this. This one isn’t even my stool. I wanted to fix it, because … I can.
It’s my first time this year 😏 I don't have a pass, but I'm going to draw my way through the city anyway. How long have you been urban sketching?

There were 2 sketchbooks accidents in the beer garden. One with water - one with coffee with milk. My selfbound sketchbook was participants in the last accident, my sketch is covered with milky textured stains. And several pages are soaked with beige blobs.
Berlin Urban Sketchers sketch walk with Santi Sallés and Swasky. We started at #Bethanien and finally sketched at #Marthakirche . The final #throwdown happened at a beer garden. It was a brilliant finale to an amazing weekend with lots of sunshine and a creative + happy crowd 🥰
