When you're trying to distract the public from being Epstein's best friend and an alleged pedophile, any random outrage that sticks will work.

If only it didn't take living through 6 months of GOP lunacy for American voters to figure things out

While fighting COVID in 2020-2021, modern medicine had access to dialysis, ventilators, ECMO, and a whole host of medications that would have saved a bunch of people during the Spanish Flu. It‘d be better for killer flu strain to hit that current vaccines don’t cover than a new killer Covid strain.

Using Fear and Ignorance to convince people to vote against their interests is the entire game plan of the billionaire Republican Party. They use it on every single demographic, including working class white men.
Invanz (@invanz.bsky.social) reply parent
Not that hard to see how the GOP keeps them locked in. They sell WW that POC are out to rape and murder them, LGBTQ will convince their children to use litter boxes, and if they want to keep 2nd place in society, they need to shut up and get in line behind white GOP men. Otherwise they’ll be last.

?? Do you even read what you write? You make a fantastical claim about DC statehood helping retain the Senate and win elections…and I respond directly about how foolish that idea is. Sure. I’m the one with delusions here.
Invanz (@invanz.bsky.social) reply parent
My friend, you and I are probably on the same anti-genocide side. I don’t know how this applies to this current discussion on disingenuous whataboutism on the fascist takeover of the DC police
Invanz (@invanz.bsky.social) reply parent
2/ 2) you’re asking to draw a line between DC sovereignty issues and the 2024 election results and there is none. Not a single 2024 voter voted because of DC sovereignty. Navel gazing about past Dem actions on this issue is not going to help win 2026 or 2028.
Invanz (@invanz.bsky.social) reply parent
1/ 1) Trump / Miller hardly need any sort of fumbling Dem validation on immigration, they have been handily kicking the left’s ass on the immigration issue with US voters for years. Don’t sacrifice protecting immigrants but the approach has to change-50% of Latino males voted for Alligator Alcatraz
Invanz (@invanz.bsky.social) reply parent
Yes, Lindsay, keep daydreaming about how a magical DC Statehood would help in a (checks notes) 53-47 GOP majority Senate right now. Then let’s keep fantasizing how DC Statehood would help win elections when inflation and the economy was the biggest driver of votes.
Invanz (@invanz.bsky.social) reply parent
Whatever, Lindsay. Keep navel gazing and believing that if Dems were somehow perfect then Trump and the GOP would be somehow deterred from wrecking the Constitution and democracy. You do you!
Invanz (@invanz.bsky.social) reply parent
2/ Also in 2024 “Dem idiocy in regards to supervising DC” didn’t even rate in the top 1000 reasons why American voters voted for Trump
Invanz (@invanz.bsky.social) reply parent
Oh I have no doubt that the Dem politicians being feckless in general has contributed to that, but that in no way is the conversation at hand about Trump’s fascism in taking over American cities with military occupation one by one or absolving the American voters of not voting for straight evil
Invanz (@invanz.bsky.social) reply parent
2/ Here’s a thought you should probably roll around in your head: Trump’s a convicted felon, found by a jury to have sexually assaulted E. Jean Carroll and was best friends with pedophile Epstein! Whether he’s a Democrat or a Republican - he should be in prison!
Invanz (@invanz.bsky.social) reply parent
Thanks for the straw man argument, Lindsay! I #1 never said that and #2 Dems can be some terrible people too. See: Bob Menendez, Al Franken, Bill Clinton, etc. Any other spurious arguments you want to throw out there? You seem to have plenty!
Invanz (@invanz.bsky.social) reply parent
I don’t actually know, aside from Dems are great at shooting themselves in the foot, but it’s pretty unimportant as 1) Biden is no longer President and will never be President again and 2) Trump will turn the federal takeover of DC into ongoing quid pro quos and leverage to benefit himself.
Invanz (@invanz.bsky.social) reply parent
Oh look, more evidence that Trump is a terrible person and was a DINO in New York because Dems have most of the power in New York! You’ve earned a solid pat on the head for discovering something we all knew 10 years ago.
Invanz (@invanz.bsky.social) reply parent
I can’t tell if it’s more embarrassing that we’re here as a sideshow from the Epstein Files or that we’re here because DOGE Big Balls got his ass kicked in DC by some 15 year olds after calling them racist insults.
Invanz (@invanz.bsky.social) reply parent
I was wondering when the Idiot “Well Sure It’s Terrible But The Dems Did It In The Past” posts would show up. How about this for a change? It’s bad! Whoever does it! I’m all for accountability, but if you think this makes Biden and Trump equivalent on the fascism scale, you’re a moron!
Invanz (@invanz.bsky.social) reply parent
5/ had to trust the DOJ to do their jobs, because that’s the way it has always been. But Trump? If there was a single shred of evidence in the Epstein files to exonerate him, he would have released it to the world and be bragging about it from the rooftops. So there’s your explanation.
Invanz (@invanz.bsky.social) reply parent
4/ not charge, investigate or not investigate, release or don’t release in any investigation because the DOJ is supposed to be independent and apolitical and the President is not supposed to taint that with their influence. Basically, Biden had no say in whether the Epstein files were released. He
Invanz (@invanz.bsky.social) reply parent
3/ directly, and Pam Bondi says “how high?” when he says jump. If the Epstein files are not being released, it’s because Trump doesn’t want them to be released. Compare this to how Biden and every other President has kept hands off of the DOJ. They would have never dared to tell the DOJ to charge or

2/ President or at their direction. In fact, it was a scandal for the GOP that Bill Clinton even crossed paths with his AG while Whitewater was being investigated NOT because of proof of corruption but just because the look of impropriety. Now, fast forward to the MAGA moron. He runs his DOJ
Invanz (@invanz.bsky.social) reply parent
1/ Sure, let me explain, since you have zero knowledge of American civics. Before the moron Trump took office, the DOJ and the AG were and are supposed to be supremely independent entities, pursuing justice without fear or favor, and certainly they are not supposed to serve at the whims of the

LOL. Keep shilling hydrogen. Fuel cell stacks cost $170/kWh of power that you need for an application. I’m done here. “Tiny fraction of the resources” LOL
Invanz (@invanz.bsky.social) reply parent
Untrue as well. You can rig up physical storage of renewable energy (wind a spring, lift a weight, pump water uphill) that is much less resource intensive than manufacturing renewable energy extractors (solar panels, wind turbines, hydroelectric plants). It’s the extraction that limits renewables.
Invanz (@invanz.bsky.social) reply parent
Renewable energy is not unlimited - or we would all have free energy bills, wouldn’t we? Also, hydrogen fuel cells requires vehicles with resource intensive batteries and electric drivetrains made with the same rare earth elements as BEVs.
Invanz (@invanz.bsky.social) reply parent
2/ It doesn’t matter how increasingly desperate the lives of the bottom 60% of Americans are getting in regards to the stock market as long as the rich have nowhere else useful to dump their increasingly large hoards of wealth, and use their money to make more money without having to lift a finger.
Invanz (@invanz.bsky.social) reply parent
There is manipulation but there’s a better explanation. The top 1% now own 50% of stocks, top 10% own 93%. Money pours into stocks regardless of how the economy is doing month by month because the US system is functioning as intended - funneling increasing amounts of wealth to the already wealthy.
Invanz (@invanz.bsky.social) reply parent
It doesn’t make sense with renewable energy. For any renewable source, it’s more efficient to power a battery electric vehicle than go through a hydrogen middleman. It does make sense, however, if you’re a fossil fuel company and you want to eventually replace cheap oil with cheap coal. (Coal to H2)

It’s sickening to think that if this was 1940, Trump would be squeezing Churchill to accept an unfavorable peace deal with Nazi Germany while claiming all the ships the US lent to them should be repaid back with 50% of the resources of the British Empire.
