Totally agree with you there. It seems that there are two modalities at work. The first you just described, and then the second is the actual class of the rulers who are chosen being elevated above others. I don’t see that being as much of an issue with anarchist confederalism.

I agree with some of your points but I disagree as far as the general conclusion. Seems we are disagreeing about which is the horse and which is the cart as far as which came first. Greed has been around since the start of time, but racism in its current form has primarily existed since capitalism.

Well, that’s definitely true. White people created capitalism which requires racism to function and its current form. I think my point and others is that that racism isn’t an end goal of itself. The racism is a tool to propagate capitalist dominance around the world.

I know my intent was not to the dismissive of the oppression that is and has been directed towards minorities in the United States for centuries. Maybe I worded that poorly. However, I do think it’s a symptom of our system more so than an organic ideology of itself.

Even if those things you said are correct, those same criticisms are true about the US today. My understanding is that the Chinese quality of life is much better than western propaganda would lead us to believe. 90% of Chinese families own their homes. 80% of those are owned outright.
But what Trump is doing, would not even qualify as state capitalism. He seems to be attempting to combine state and corporate power and ownership into one entity. That is fascism.

You’re talking about state capitalism. State capitalism was what happened in the USSR. The Soviets identified as socialist but the state ownership of the business was considered state capitalism, even at the time.
