I’d just dial back the amount of characters and subplots, add more time to develop the main cast/themes, and have more scenes of Supes proving his morals to average citizens since the main thrust of the story revolves around their distrust of him.
Would’ve like a scene in the film where Supes addressed the world like this
His reliance on very silly humor can work, but I think since GotG2 he hasn’t learned how to dial things back when needed. That and I felt a lot of the big emotional moments were a bit unearned since we rush through getting to know the characters
I’ve been done with Snyder’s version for a looooong time. He did some cool stuff but never felt he really liked classic Supes, so I much prefer this new approach
Does one have to be a screenwriter in order to criticize a script?
Was kinda mixed on Superman, but it is refreshing to have a boy scout Supes who is very clearly a good empathetic person who goes out of his way to help people and animals alike. Just think the film is trying to juggle a few too many elements and Gunn’s writing sensibilities have gotten tiresome

Finished the lil tournament and unlocked the big monster that helped me travel the map faster
It all looks pretty and well made, but i dunno something just isn’t connecting. Very slow drip story-progression and very sparse on character interaction. Feels like a lot of meandering mixed with the same combat gameplay over and over. Lack of a handy map is a little frustrating as well
