I think this is hugely untrue. The birth and subsequent failure of the Occupy Wall Street movement shows that. If you asked a million poor people, they would be thrilled to have their children become "megarich" or "the next Bill Gates." Only individuals like Musk or Zuckerberg are unpopular.
