FYI if you were planning on getting #CronosTheNewDawn physical it’s delayed until 9/19
There’s a real “holier than thou” aura that seems to permeate the folks on this app. What’s funny is the judgmental attitudes are just as bad as the folks on X but for some reason folks on here think they’re superior when they exhibit the same behavior
Hence why I always go digital. Physical has been getting delayed like crazy. Cronos physical is delayed to 9/19
Vagrant Story I feel has a chance of being remastered since it takes place in Ivalice
Just realized I have been recognizing a lot of music in #LostSoulAside and it’s not even using an original soundtrack. Most of the music is sampled trailer music from Two Steps from Hell. I guess an original soundtrack wasn’t in the budget
People are acting like #LostSoulAside personally slapped their mama. It’s a solid game. Not perfect by any means but it’s not this horrendous POS folks are making it out to be with some serious overreactions. It’s also very pretty #PS5Pro
Someone send Square Enix the files for both Parasite Eve games, Vagrant Story and Xenogears
The atmosphere and environmental storytelling in #HellisUs is freaking incredible
I look forward to playing this (never have) but too many games I want this month so Hell is Us, Cronos and silent hill f are taking priority

I’ve been enjoying #LostSoulAside but super excited to jump into #HellisUs and #CronosTheNewDawn this week. I picked a great week to be on vacation.

Okay - I’m having a blast with #LostSoulAside and holy crap it’s tough. I’m 2.5 hours in and getting my ass kicked by a boss and you really have to get your combos and strategy together.
Does #LostSoulAside have awkward music transitions? Yes. Is it absolutely being blown out of proportion by people? Also yes.
Jobs change. Technologies change. You adapt or you become unemployed. I rather keep my salary thanks ✌️

I have never seen a game with such mismanaged expectations as #LostSoulAside - wowza. It never promised to be some AAA high budget first party title. It as always a moderately budgeted game.
I feel like people created expectations for this game and made it into something it never promised to be. I like it. But I also enjoy a lot of 7/10 games and games folks don’t like
It’s not reused assets. The environments are gorgeous. It’s just a mid-budget game: it never promised to be more than that
I have to keep an eye on it and I’m always swiffering around it because I have a long haired chihuahua that sheds like a beast
I appreciate the “you suck here’s items to help” mechanics. I wish Wuchang did such things because I’m stuck in that game permanently
It’s a solid 7 game. There’s nothing wrong with that. It was never promised to be some huge AAA title. It’s a mid-budget game and plays like one. Perfectly enjoyable.

After watching some streams of #LostSoulAside I’m sold. Feels like a mix of #FF7Remake zone and exploration wise with the combat of DMC. Really great music and zone design too.

I’d love a smaller game like Lost Legacy starring Abby and Lev. For me the back half of Part 2 is way more enjoyable and I like Abby as a character more
With the release of FF7 Part 3 hitting in Spring for the 30th anniversary they are going to avoid that game and its marketing cycle
One of my favorite games ever is #Returnal because of the music and ambience. The world is just so incredibly well put together. I also listen to the ambient tracks while I work daily 😆

So I was one of the few who loved the #RE3Remake but now replaying the original on #PS5 after a decade or so, it’s shocking to me how the remake didn’t follow the structure or locations like at all. I mean hardly any of the remake resembles the original game in any way.
It’s nice to be like thank god I wouldn’t play 95% of these.
The longer they hold back that Grace is not the only protagonist in #ResidentEvilRequiem - the worse i think the news is going to backfire. Folks are now latching onto Grace. Announcing Leon or anyone else too late is going to feel like a bait and switch

I mean they outright said the opening played in the demo is not representative of the actual game exploration with much more open zones and dungeons and puzzles, so I’m curious if there is a big switch when the game opens up

Okay #HellisUs you’re a total vibe. Not a fan of overly complicated zones with no in-game map but the story, atmosphere and overall aesthetic is definitely something I’m here for.

Played a few hours of #FFV last night. It certainly starts off quick with lots of moving pieces. But I love that it establishes the core cast quickly. They are all likable. And your mission is pretty clear from the beginning. Also, OMG the soundtrack for this is so good! #FinalFantasy
