To be fair, I would never vote for PP. However I agree he's hiding something, by refusing security clearance. Would you back someone who refuses security clearance as a federal politician? Very suspect.

Well that's a conservative mindset feature. Change is hard and unpredictable, so keeping the status quo is easier and feels safe.
