what is right, what is decent. I'm so sorry that you were a victim of that. Therefore we must continue to protect ourselves from such people, even though you are absolutely justified in being outraged that such protection is necessary. Those bad people don't change, because they don't want to.
Someone replied about laws regarding voyeurism and public spaces as if arguing the legal basis for allowing such a use, and I was so sickened I just left the thread and blocked the ad and that user. So I'm left with the grim reality that there are too many people who don't want to do what is kind,
It reminds me of a time I saw an ad back when it was Twitter, for a drone with a video camera. The ad demonstrated its use by having it spy on a sunbathing woman on a penthouse deck, obviously without knowledge or consent. I found that incredibly offensive, and commented to that effect.
I'm so very sorry to hear that you've been subjected to a violation of yourself and your account. That's what it is, of course. Something you posted in good motive was violated by being misused. And the attitude of some who reply to the matter naturally upset you. (short thread)

It sounds like you're asking for our thinking on it. I built my collection of people I followed there over many years, and I love keeping in touch with those people. I was there long before the people with terrible attitudes, so I personally don't want to leave my own "home" there because of them.
