I will not hesitate to block you. If you voted MAGA or were eligible to vote and didn't, or wrote in, we don't have anything in common. You clearly didn't understand the assignment. I can't believe what you say because I see what you do. - James Baldwin

Creating a few posts to counter the "do nothing" narrative. This one is examples of Dems in the House using procedures to DELAY legislative activities. There hasn't been much of it due to FOTUS ruling by EO. Dems in the MINORITY party are doing what they can. Corrections/distribution welcome.
Blue Jazz (@jazzisblue.bsky.social)
Trying to channel my frustration productively. I created this graphic to reduce wear and tear on my keyboard and mind when I'm trying to share thoughts on impeachment. Please free to suggest corrections and/or share if you experience the same frustration.

Blue Jazz (@jazzisblue.bsky.social) reply parent
Eerily silent on the protest front, yet the bloodsport of infecting public opinion about Dems continues. Who benefits from that? Hint: It's not Gaza. Then again, it was never actually about what Gaza wanted or needed. If it was, FOTUS wouldn't be a thing. share.google/Ir7KQAsVW6os...

Thanks for clarifying. I wanted to understand your point. While I agree more unity is better, I don't agree that all divides are equal or fixable short or long-term. It boils down to the risk the divide poses. Arsonsists in the tent can't be tolerated.
Blue Jazz (@jazzisblue.bsky.social) reply parent
True. The problem is when supposedly Dem voters pass that info along instead of loudly and consistently correcting it with truth. π
Blue Jazz (@jazzisblue.bsky.social) reply parent
Your first point was that the Big Tent is hard. No argument there. Is your second point that we won't win with women candidates for president?
Blue Jazz (@jazzisblue.bsky.social) reply parent
Their job is to lead their colleagues in the House and Senate - not to lead you. You didn't elect or appoint them to those roles and have no voice in that decision. Maybe you could spend some time learning about the roles before being loud and wrong even after being corrected.

Blue Jazz (@jazzisblue.bsky.social) reply parent
What's interesting is when you ask them specifically what they should do differently, they can't articulate any feasible expectations that would be effective. They also don't understand what the job roles of the senate and house minority leaders entail.
