Trump just isn’t saying it out loud any more. Just as the US is fomenting dissent in Greenland to achieve the goal of taking it for themselves, their goal is to undermine the Canadian economy until we become the 51st state. The sooner we pivot away from the US, the better.
I got mine earlier this year for free and will have another free one in October when the latest and greatest comes out. Along with my free flu shot. 🇨🇦

TBH, I don’t see many ppl out in the streets and, until that happens, the march towards fascism will continue. It’s sad and frightening and unbelievable all at once.
All my friends from my decades in the US are still saying “We just have to get through the next four years.” The realization that the tipping point has probably been passed hasn’t happened.
It has been a slow creep though. I left the US in 2015 and one of the reasons for that was this was all on the horizon. Certainly the pace towards full blown fascism has been expedited in recent months but not enough people care or recognize it.

My local grocery (Thriftys, owned by Sobeys) makes a HUGE deal about buying local, has Island/BC/Canadian products tagged. But it’s all American merchandise on the premium shelves. If you want to buy Canadian, you have to bend over to get it. Literally and figuratively.
