Outside the (illegitimately) court-created "Constitution-free zone" of immigration, he has only as much or as little ability to enforce his will as people/institutions are willing to hand him out of cowardice or corruption.

And, what's more, this judge is a big-time Republican, previously best known for tossing out COVID restrictions. If I were one of the Trump lawyers whose name was on this complaint, I'd resign from the Bar, move to another state, and change my name. Maybe open a bar, or raise goats or something.
For non-lawyers: this judge tossed Trump's suit on Rule 8 grounds, which is a thing that I've literally never even heard of happening to a filing by an actual lawyer. It basically only ever happens to people representing themselves (and typically only those who are mentally unwell).
Does Darrell Issa think you're not allowed to (falsely) shout "FIRE!" in a crowded theater because doing so will cause the theater to catch on fire? Does he think that's how fire works? Does he think people are shouting so loud that the friction of their sound waves is igniting the upholstery?

My bit of anecdata: in deep blue MA, the Teslas are the only ones that feel the need to put apologetic bumper stickers (e.g., "I bought it before he went crazy!") on their cars. A Rivian or Chevy Bolt or whatever isn't going to risk "giving the wrong impression," at all.

Again 100% agreed in principle. I think, for this specific example, if you're charged with assaulting a trans person, it's not unreasonable for the court to set a condition of "don't threaten to assault (or ask anyone else to assault) any trans people."
I also agree with that general principle, but it's worth noting here that he wasn't just arrested for tweets, per se, he was arrested b/c he was out on bond for *actually assaulting* a trans person (punched the phone out of the hand of a teenager), and the tweets violated the terms of his release.
