This is Toba Inlet. A fjord that goes miles into the Canadian mountains in BC. We anchored here under this waterfall and were the only people for at least 20 miles.
We saw otters in a couple of locations, Von Donop Inlet, and Goliath Bay

We’ve discovered a literal miracle with almost unlimited potential and it’s being scrapped for *no reason whatsoever*. This isn’t even nihilism, it’s outright worship of death and human suffering.
This what low tide looks like in the nook we anchored in. In Von Donop Inlet on the NW side of Cortes Island BC. At high tide all those rocks were covered. Thats why reading the chart is important.

Please don't conflate decriminalization of sex work with legalization of sex work. We push for decriminalization instead of legalization because legalization leaves vulnerable people beind. Anyone who can't meet the legal requirements to work is still criminalized and still at risk.

Should MLB change the rules to make it easier to be a pro player if you are born in the wrong month? Is this different than banning trans athletes because they were assigned the wrong gender at birth?
Professional baseball players are statistically born in certain months. Because the age cutoff for little league gave them an advantage. That advantage propagates through all the way to MLB.
So when a person has one set of hormones for a period of time and then switches to another hormone set. Is that any more unfair than being born to tall parents? Should there be a rule in the NBA excluding people with tall parents? Is that any different than being a trans athlete?
Michael Jordan is 6'6" (1.98m) tall. Their genes, hormones during puberty, along with nutrition are the factors that made this happen. Is this an unfair advantage over a player who worked just as hard but tis 5'8" tall? Sports competition is always rewarding a combination of TALENT and practice.

I don't understand how some folks are unable to see that the illegal disappearing of people is a class issue. The wealthy and well-connected get due process. The rest of us don't. This is part of the oligarchy, not a distraction from it.

The legacy media need to start correcting this whenever it is used. Disagreeing/protesting with Israels actions in Gaza and the West Bank is not antisemitism. The oppressors are the Israeli Government. When they say antisemitism it needs to be corrected. Every time, or the message is propaganda.
I support and love my trans siblings and loved ones and I’m working to make the world a safe place for all of us to be who we are.
I am reminded of the person in the midwest who insisted on a safe call. Their "date" was so upset and reacted so poorly to that boundary. They eventually reported the suspect behavior which led to the authorities finding several bodies in their back yard.
A lot of money is spent to keep us looking younger. And there is a lot of emphasis on it. All the cosmetic l youthfulness on the outside. Some mornings I would accept looking like Yoda if I could just get rid of the knee/ankle/wrist/back pain I wake up with.

The thing is the present administration is evil, but not only that they are lazy. Using AI to generate a tariff schedule. Repeated blanket firings of critical staff that have to be rescinded. Universal pardons because a case by case was to time consuming. It all points to laziness. Is it worse?
