Exaggerated i’ve been through this with a patient. You really don’t get toxicity til about 1 g a day of ingestion of b 6 and there’s 5 mg /can so while it’s unnecessary to be in Red Bull. It’s almost impossible to get B6 toxicity from food intake -have to take large doses of supplements as well.

I have long thought that employment turned out to be a bad deal, especially for primary care physicians. I ran my own practice although I was an employee some places. this is unbelievable.
I have verified the above with two physicians one retired. The other is planning on it. I do not work there so I can’t be punished. I am being their voice .conditions are terrible.

#MedSky. Does it make any sense that the people who are in charge of our health and our health system at CMS and FDA are political appointee? Why aren’t they skilled people who rise to the top of their field every four years every eight years this is ridiculous and physicians need to speak out.
What if doctors began to speak up refused to use EMRs without features we need. Isn’t it basic economics? For instance, physicians organizations med staff come together and tell epic. We are not renewing our contract until you give us what we need. What is wrong with docs? Why won’t you speak up?

Lower the overhead, I am in the states but did it for 16 yrs. software let patients book appointments train MA to be receptionist /nurse. You don’t need a receptionist patients come ,sit down ,you go get them. They can actually do their own blood pressure and wt. I’m very sorry to hear about this.

The replies are about how the vaccine isn’t safe and comments about shutdown and one that said it ruined people social life, which seems less important than life to me. What is the general consensus among you all about how Covid was handled and do you studies and vaccines are being lied about
All the comments are incredibly negative and nasty about lies and mismanagement during Covid. That studies are wrong and everything done during Covid was wrong. Seems to me people did their best. Some good decisions made some bad. It was a pandemic we were unprepared for so people did their best.

I have already lost my job. Part-time semi retired primary care doc in an area where no one can get a primary care doctor. The healthcare system is bleeding money and closed a 48 bed hospital.
No one listens when you have to keep using the F word why imitate a loser I just blocked you. I’m sick of nastiness.

There is a little bit of hope. I both mostly agree with you. My nephew changed his mind when he saw what was really happening and I wonder if they lose money in healthcare if they will change their minds yes, I just wonder.
So? The thing is this is med sky not just some open mishmash of blue sky or Twitter. We are supposed to be educated here and I presume that that person wants to be heard if they want to be heard they are best off to be told to use language well then we can listen. They deserve to be heard.

Something is very wrong and very desperate when hospitals close another is laying off 100 people in a third is being bought by something called prime from California. I am a primary care MD and I have also just lost my job.
And hasn’t Medicare paid us primary care doctors over 2% less every year for the last several years funny how all the orthopedic spots filled in the match isn’t that funny?
The legislature in the state doesn’t want to pay for Medicaid. They seem to think somebody’s getting something fabulous for free and they just hate the idea that we would all put into the pot together to create a safety net. They just hate that idea.
Forget even research as much as it matters cut are being made everywhere a 48 bed hospital here has closed another closed. It’s OB unit doctors and nurses out of work in a country that desperately needs them because there’s no money to pay them.
All these people out of work including doctors and nurses in a country that doesn’t have enough primary care. Are we kidding? This is feeling very desperate.
300+ people are out of work because of the hospital that has closed. Another hospital is being bought by something called prime from California and another is laying off 100 people because of lack of funding of the Medicaid payments.
The legislature doesn’t want to fund our Medicaid and so no one’s being paid but a smallest percentage of money owed to them and no one can go work at the VA because of the federal firings and
